D'uccles are a fancy little feather legged breed that have a long history. They are thought to have originated in China but the birds were refined to what we know today in Belgium. They are a true bantam, meaning there is no large fowl counterpart. They have a beard and muff and small single combs. They have compact bodies. They come in a wide color choice, Millie Fleur being the most common. I am smitten with the Mottled. They are loaded with personality, very friendly and can fly very well.
